Punjabi pop artist Diljit Dosanjh is back in the market with some brand-new music to sell, most importantly his latest album, AURA. The lyrics for the 10-track album have been mostly penned by Raj Randhodh except for one track and produced by Intense, Preet Hundal, MixSingh, Avvy Sra, and Sunny Malton. The artist also released a music video for one of the tracks titled ‘Kufar’, which features actor and model Manushi Chhillar.

Manushi, who is also the winner of the 2017 Miss World pageant, is the centre of attention throughout the music video, as she rocks a tattoo of a spinning top, which looks like Leonardo DiCaprio’s totem from the film Inception. The duo are seen going through three different settings and costumes in the music video, with Diljit mentioning everything from the girl’s tantrums to yoga, all the way to Picasso.

This particular track has been mastered by Sean, written by Randhodh and produced by MixSingh. It has been directed by Piyush and Shazia, and the duo have also doubled as the choreographers. While Diljit has taken care of all of the vocals of the track, Manushi has led the dancers. Released on Wednesday morning along with the rest of the album, the music video has already amassed 23k views.

‘Kufar’ is the second track on the album, and the singer/actor also promoted the music video on his Instagram with the caption, “‘Kufar’ official video out now on YouTube. AURA, the sexiest album of the year.” With this single and Diljit’s promotion, it seems like the singer is leaning towards a more romantic side for the album. Karan Aujla also did that with his latest album, P-Pop Culture, but only with Disc 1. The second disc of the album had Aujla rely on his hip-hop instincts, and the songs were more loud and exciting than romantic.

After the whole controversy regarding Sardaarji 3, Diljit’s year is definitely looking better. First his film Amar Singh Chamkila got nominated for the International Emmy Awards, and now his latest album AURA.
