Gold, Silver Price Today, July 23: Gold prices rose today, July 23 (Thursday), extending gains for a fifth straight session, as a weaker US dollar boosted the appeal of the precious metal for overseas buyers. As of 6:45 am, spot gold was trading 0.1 per cent higher at USD 4,135.32 per ounce. Prices were on track to rise for the fifth straight session, reaching their highest level since July 7. Spot silver also moved higher, gaining 0.3 per cent to trade around USD 60 per ounce.

Domestic Market Update (MCX)

At the time of writing this report (9:09 AM), on the MCX, gold was trading 0.33 per cent lower at Rs 1,45,205 per 10 grams, while silver was trading 0.26 per cent lower at Rs 2,26,400 per kg.
