One Indian worker ‌lost his life and three others were injured in ‌a drone attack ‌in ‌the Moscow region on Sunday (May 17, 2026), the Indian Embassy in ‌Russia said in an X ‌post.

At least four people, including three near Moscow, died in one of the largest Ukrainian overnight attacks against Russia since the start of the war, according to Russian local authorities.

Russian defences shot down 81 drones headed for Moscow overnight, state agency Tass reported, citing Mr. Sobyanin, marking one of the largest attacks on the Russian capital since Moscow launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022.

Сегодня в Подмосковье в результате атаки беспилотника погиб один гражданин Индии и ещё трое получили ранения. Сотрудники посольства выехали на место происшествия и навестили пострадавших в больнице.
