Indo-MIM Ltd made a strong stock market debut on Thursday, listing at a premium of about 44-45 per cent over its initial public offering price after the issue received robust investor demand.

The stock is listed at ₹703 on the BSE, a premium of 44.9 per cent over the IPO price of ₹485 per share.

On the NSE, the shares debuted at ₹700, up 44.3 per cent from the issue price, and later climbed to an intraday high of ₹725.80.

Swastika Investmart said the strong listing reflected strong demand from qualified institutional buyers and high-net-worth investors, as well as the company’s position in the metal injection moulding industry.

Shivani Nyati, Head of Wealth at Swastika Investmart, said the stock is trading well above fair value based on FY26 price-to-earnings multiples following the sharp listing gains. It expects near-term profit booking and advises investors to book partial profits at current levels. For the remaining holdings, it recommended maintaining a stop-loss in the ₹595-600 range to protect listing gains while allowing for volatility.

The IPO was subscribed 72.34 times overall. The qualified institutional buyers’ portion was subscribed 204.34 times, while the non-institutional investors’ category received 50.63 times subscription. The retail investors’ quota was subscribed to 6.67 times.

Ahead of the IPO, the company raised about ₹1,141 crore from anchor investors.

The public issue was priced at ₹461-485 per share. It comprised a fresh issue of equity shares worth up to ₹500 crore and an offer for sale of around 6.83 crore equity shares by existing shareholders.

The company plans to use ₹400 crore from the fresh issue proceeds to prepay or repay certain outstanding borrowings, with the balance used for general corporate purposes.
