Kurnool District Collector A. Siri announced on Wednesday that Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will launch the State government’s flagship ‘Sanjeevani’ healthcare initiative at Aspari in Kurnool district on July 25 (Saturday).
Ahead of the Chief Minister’s visit, the Collector, along with district officials, inspected the proposed helipad, public meeting venue, primary health centre (PHC), parking facilities, drinking water arrangements, sanitation measures, security and traffic management plans at Aspari.
Speaking to the media, Ms. Siri said that the Chief Minister was scheduled to visit the primary health centre to review medical services provided to patients, including registration procedures, medical consultations, and healthcare delivery mechanisms. He will formally inaugurate the Sanjeevani programme before participating in a public meeting and interacting with party cadre.
The Chief Minister will also review the State government’s ‘Safe Motherhood’ initiative that focuses on maternal health, nutrition, mental well-being and postnatal care from pregnancy through childbirth and beyond.
Mr. Naidu will also interact with pregnant women and their family members during the visit. He will also launch the ‘Arogya Ratham’ mobile healthcare service which will deliver diagnostic and preventive healthcare to people in rural communities.
