Minister Rajkumar inaugurates classrooms in Cuddalore

Minister for Housing and Urban Development B. Rajkumar, on Monday, inaugurated new classrooms at the Government Higher Secondary School at Thirukandeswaram in Cuddalore district, constructed at a total cost of ₹1.30 crore

Mr. Rajkumar said the State Government had been implementing several schemes to improve the quality of education and to provide government schools with facilities on par with private institutions.

New classrooms, laboratories, libraries, drinking water and toilet facilities are being developed in government schools as part of this initiative. The eight classrooms have been constructed under the School Development grant scheme, he said.

Collector Sibi Adhithya Senthil Kumar was present.
