  The company posted a consolidated net profit of ₹11,946 crore in Q3 FY26, compared with ₹9,747 crore in the year-ago period, according to its regulatory filing.

  WHAT DRIVES ONGC’S Q3 FY26 PERFORMANCE

  Profit Growth Despite Flat Revenue

  Consolidated gross revenue in Q3 FY26 stood at ₹1,67,423 crore versus ₹1,67,213 crore in Q3 FY25, a marginal rise of 0.13%.

  However, consolidated net profit jumped 23% to ₹11,946 crore from ₹9,747 crore.

  Net profit attributable to owners rose 16.7% to ₹10,016 crore from ₹8,585 crore.

  Revenue was flat, but profit surged. This indicates margin expansion and cost efficiency, not topline growth drove earnings.

  For 9M FY26, revenue declined 1.43% to ₹4,88,442 crore, yet net profit rose nearly 23% to ₹36,115 crore. Clear margin-led performance.

  Standalone Revenue Impacted by Lower Crude Prices

  Standalone Q3 revenue declined 6.4% to ₹31,546 crore from ₹33,717 crore.

  This was mainly due to lower crude realisations:

  * Nominated crude realisation fell 15% to $61.63/bbl from $72.57/bbl.

  * JV crude realisation fell 13% to $63.00/bbl from $72.59/bbl.

  Despite this sharp drop in prices, standalone net profit still rose 1.6% to ₹8,372 crore from ₹8,240 crore.

  Even with weaker crude prices, upstream profitability remained resilient.

  Production Stability is Key Positive

  Crude production (Standalone):

  * Q3 FY26: 4.592 MMT

  * Q3 FY25: 4.653 MMT

  For 9M FY26, crude production rose 0.35% to 13.907 MMT from 13.858 MMT.

  Natural gas production remained stable:

  * Q3 FY26: 4.988 BCM

  * Q3 FY25: 4.978 BCM

  9M gas production remained steady at 14.751 BCM.

  Volume stability offsets part of the price decline impact.

  New Well Gas Becoming a Strategic Earnings Driver

  Revenue from New Well Gas during 9M FY26 stood at ₹5,028 crore.

  This generated ₹944 crore additional revenue over APM pricing and now contributes more than 18% of total gas sales revenue.

  Nomination gas price rose slightly to $6.59/mmbtu from $6.50/mmbtu.

  IndiGrid Q3 results live:

  IndiGrid (IndiGrid Infrastructure Trust) announced its financial results for the quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2025, reporting revenue of ₹8,622 million, representing a 11.7% year-on-year increase. The InvIT declared DPU of ₹4.00 for Q3 FY26, in line with full-year guidance of ₹16.00 per unit.

  The revenue has been primarily driven by the inclusion of newer projects in the portfolio. This growth translated into EBITDA of ₹7,843 million, up 13% year-on-year. During the quarter, IndiGrid successfully raised ₹1,500 crore through an Institutional Placement, which was oversubscribed by 2x.

  Bharat Forge Q3 results live:

  Bharat Forge Limited (BFL), announced its financial results for the quarter ended December 31, 2025, today reporting strong sequential qrowth in the quarter.

  The quarterly performance continued to be impacted by the de-stocking in the North American CV market. Standalone Revenues was up 7.0% sequentially to Rs 2,084 crores and EBITDA at Rs 569 Crore was up 4.6% QoQ translating in an EBITDA margin of 27.3%. The performance was aided by the strong growth in the Domestic automotive business and execution of defence orderbook.

  Export revenues witnessed a 3% sequential decline with auto sector down 13% and industrials showing a 11% increase. In Q3, the company secured new orders worth Rs 2,388 Crores including Rs 1,878 crores in Defence. As of Dec 31st 2025, the defence order book stood at Rs 11,130 crores. Bharat Forge signed the CQB Carbine contract with the Ministry of Defence for supply of more than 250,000 units to the Indian armed forces. This order unlocks significant growth opportunities for our Small Arms vertical within the Defence business. In the quarter gone by, JS Autocast (JSA) recorded revenue of Rs 203 Crore and EBITDA of Rs 32 Crore (15.7% EBITDA margin) representing a 22% and 39% YoY jump respectively.

  K-Drive mobility, a supplier of axle assembly across segments witnessed a muted topline but a sharp jump in their profitability with EBITDA margins moving up from 3.1% in Q2 FY26 to 5.1% in this quarter. The company expects the margin profile to continue to improve over a 3-year time frame. The US & European operations reported modest operating profits despite seasonal weakness in the PV market. Review of the European steel manufacturing footprint is on track, and concrete measures are expected to be in place by the end of this fiscal.

  HAL Q3 results live: Shares up

  HAL rose over 1% to Rs 4,220.20 on the NSE against the previous close of Rs 4,158.90. It reported standalone net profit of Rs 1851.72 crore in December 2025 quarter compared to Rs 1432.60 crore in the same quarter last year.
