Salman Khan gives rare ramp walk for designer Vikram Phadnis’ 35-year fashion gala, reunites with Sushmita Sen and Bipasha Basu; watch photos and videos

salman khan walks rampLast night at Vikram Phadnis's show Salman Khan had a little reunion with his old female actors like Bipasha Basu, Sushmita Sen and Ameesha Patel. 

It’s not everyday that Salman Khan walks the ramp at a fashion show, but he surprised his fans on Tuesday evening with a rare appearance at designer Vikram Phadnis’ 35th anniversary gala. The event was hosted in Mumbai, and was a celebration of ‘Vintage India’, with Salman as the showstopper. The grand event featured over a 100 models flaunting Vikram Phadnis’ elaborate creations, but the limelight was very obviously on Salman, who was seen in his element.

He was dressed in a traditional black kurta-pyjama, layered with a long sherwani-style jacket. Crafted from luxurious silk, the jacket showcased Vikram Phadnis’ signature touch with intricate gold and maroon floral embroidery adorning the shoulders, chest, and sleeves. In a clip from inside the event, Salman Khan was seen warmly interacting with actors Bipasha Basu, Sushmita Sen and Ameesha Patel.

Talking about his bond with the designer, Salman said at the event, “I’ve known Vikram for years, he’s been a part of many of my films, and so many memories. Watching him complete 35 years and being part of this celebration feels truly special.”

The audience went gaga as Salman took centre stage. The gala night was a star-studded affair with the presence of a few other Bollywood celebs too. Sonakshi Sinha, Zaheer Iqbal, Genelia Deshmukh, Riteish Deshmukh, Zareen Khan, Suhana Khan and others were also in attendance.

Salman’s public appearances have become less frequent ever since he was threatened by members of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Salman has also been given Y+ security after receiving multiple death threats. After the event, Salman also announced about his plans to join his Da-Bangg The Tour Reloaded in Doha, Qatar, on November 14, 2025. The event will feature an all-star line-up including Sonakshi Sinha, Jacqueline Fernandez, Tamannaah Bhatia, and Prabhu Deva.
