Markets traded in a volatile yet narrow range and settled marginally higher amid mixed cues. Technically, analysts say the Nifty is encountering resistance near the 24,400 zone, which coincides with the 200-day EMA. While the broader recovery structure remains intact above the 24,100-24,000 support zone, the inability to sustain at higher levels suggests the possibility of a consolidation phase, before an extension towards 24,600–24,800 zone in the near term.

Vedanta

Hyundai India

Hyundai Motor India reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 889 crore for Q1 FY27, marking a sharp 35% YoY fall from the Rs 1,369 crore reported in the year-ago period, with the company’s management highlighting that the Creta-maker faced a challenging quarter as multiple headwinds impacted volumes and profitability.

Swiggy
Food delivery and quick commerce major Swiggy reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 791 crore for the first quarter of FY27, marking nearly 34% year-on-year decrease from the Rs 1,197 crore net loss reported in the year-ago period.

Tata Steel
Tata Steel reported a 15% rise in consolidated net profit attributable to owners for the June quarter, helped by higher revenue and improved operating performance. The steelmaker posted net profit attributable to owners of Rs 2,318 crore for the quarter ended June 2026, compared with Rs 2,078 crore in the same quarter last year.
