TIAA Fund Sells 1.78 per cent Stake
TIAA-CREF Funds’ TIAA CREF Emerging Markets Equity Index Fund, managed by Teachers Advisors (an affiliate of Nuveen), sold 87.3 lakh shares, representing a 1.78 per cent stake, in Sterlite Technologies at Rs 144.81 per share. The transaction amounted to Rs 126.4 crore.

Indian stock market indices Sensex and Nifty 50 remained in a range today (Tuesday, February 11) and ended almost unchanged. The NSE Nifty managed to cross the 26,000-mark in intraday and make a high of 26,009.40. It added just 18.70 points or 0.072 per cent to end at 25,953.85.
