India trounced Namibia by 93 runs in the Group A encounter of the T20 World Cup 2026 held at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Thursday. Batting first, India posted a massive total of 209/9 in 20 overs. In reply, Namibia got bundled out at 116 in 18.2 overs. Ishan Kishan, who smashed a brilliant knock of 61 in just 24 balls, and Hardik Pandya, who made 52 off 28, were the standout performers with the bat for India. Pandya also picked up a couple of wickets.

With the win, the attention will not shift to Sunday's clash against arch-rivals Pakistan.
