Tamil Nadu government effects fresh IAS reshuffle

The Tamil Nadu government on Friday effected another major bureaucratic reshuffle, transferring several senior IAS officers across key departments.

According to a government order, Sandeep Nanduri, Managing Director of Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation (TIDCO), has been appointed as Special Secretary to Government, Industries, Investment Promotion and Commerce Department, replacing Mariam Pallavi Baldev.

Sandhya Venugopal Sharma, Chairperson of TIDCO, has been transferred and posted as Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Planning and Development Department, succeeding Sajjansingh R Chavan.

D Karthikeyan, formerly Principal Secretary to Government, Municipal Administration and Water Supply Department has been appointed as TIDCO Chairman and Managing Director.

Shilpa Prabhakar Satish, Secretary to Government, Commercial Taxes and Registration Department, has been appointed Commissioner of Labour in place of SA Raman.

Raman has been posted as Managing Director of State Industries Promotion Corporation of Tamil Nadu (SIPCOT), replacing K Senthil Raj.

TG Vinay, former Managing Director of Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board, has been placed at the disposal of Tamil Nadu Green Energy Corporation for appointment as its Managing Director in place of S Aneesh Sekhar.

Aneesh Sekhar has been transferred as Mission Director of the National Health Mission, the order added.
