TCS , Google Cloud announce partnership in AI: Tata Consultancy Services on Tuesday has announced an expansion of its partnership with Google to integrate the Gemini Enterprise AI platform. The decision was aimed at empowering the global workforce and providing innovative services to customers. The integration of Gemini Enterprise will help TCS develop custom AI agents and streamline operational workflows, strengthening its position as a leader in AI transformation.

Aarthi Subramanian, President and COO at TCS, has said that at TCS, we see AI as a catalyst for empowering our workforce and redefining how we deliver value to clients. We have made significant investments in democratising access to AI technologies for our employees, and Gemini Enterprise is a fresh addition to the TCS AI Infrastructure footprint.

This major move into generative AI coincides with a significant shift in TCS's human resources strategy. Previously, the IT giant reported a significant decline in its workforce for the quarter ended September 30, 2025. The company's final headcount stood at 593,314 employees, representing a net decrease of 19,755 from 613,069 employees in the previous quarter.
