The spiritual leader's appeal for patience and communication amid the ongoing student protests has found support from users across the political spectrum.

Spiritual leader Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar has weighed in on the ongoing student protests, urging patience, dialogue and understanding instead of confrontation.

Taking to X, he wrote, “The voices of India’s youth deserve to be heard with patience. A breakdown in communication serves no one and is deeply unfortunate. Very sorry to see the current state of affairs."

His message quickly gained traction, with users sharing their thoughts on the need for communication, accountability and peace. Many agreed with the spiritual leader’s call for dialogue. One user wrote, “Thank you for being a voice of reason. Lack of willingness for earnest dialogue and the use of force from both sides may only fuel further agitation and increase the divide. The voices of youth need to be heard."
