New CCTV shows Twisha Sharma relaxed at a beauty parlour hours before she was found hanging in Bhopal, as dowry harassment claims grow and a second autopsy and probe intensify.

Fresh CCTV footage has emerged in the death case of 33-year-old Twisha Sharma, showing her spending time at a beauty parlour just hours before she was found dead at her marital home in Bhopal. The visuals have added a new dimension to the ongoing investigation.

According to reports, Twisha visited Expression Beauty Parlour on the day of the incident and reportedly remained there for nearly three hours. CCTV footage allegedly shows her undergoing a head massage and appearing relaxed before leaving the salon and returning home.

Later that day, Twisha — a former model and actor — was found hanging at her in-laws’ residence in Bhopal’s Katara Hills area. Her death has triggered allegations of dowry harassment and mental abuse from her family, who have questioned the circumstances surrounding the incident.

The salon owner reportedly told media outlets that Twisha’s mother-in-law, retired judge Giribala Singh, contacted the parlour after the incident seeking details about services availed by Twisha and asking about CCTV footage. The owner also claimed that several advocates later visited to inspect the recordings.

Separate CCTV footage from the family home has already come under scrutiny. Investigators are examining visuals showing Twisha heading toward the terrace, followed by footage nearly an hour later of family members bringing her downstairs and allegedly attempting CPR. The gap in time has become a key focus of the probe.

While the initial post-mortem cited hanging as the cause of death, Twisha’s family has alleged foul play, pointing to injury marks and demanding an independent investigation. The Madhya Pradesh High Court has permitted a second autopsy, which is expected to be conducted by specialists from AIIMS Delhi.

Meanwhile, Twisha’s husband, Samarth Singh, who had been absconding for several days, surrendered before court after withdrawing his bail plea and was taken into custody.
