Ahead of the theatrical release of O’Romeo on November 13, 2026 celebrated filmmaker Vishal Bharadwaj shared a long heartfelt message on Instagram thanking his entire team and crew who has been behind him and worked hard for the film, calling them his “real heroes.” He praised his team for their hard work, dedication, and passion, saying they gave more than what was asked.

Naming the People Behind the Film

Vishal mentioned several key members of his team, including Mustafa Stationwala, Meghdeep Bose, Aarif Sheikh, and many more. He also thanked his creative producer, Priti Shahani, saying he wouldn’t make another film without her. Vishal’s note shows how much he values the people who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to bring his vision to life.

Love and Violence in the Story

The director also explained what inspired the film. He said O’Romeo reflects two strong emotions he feels deeply: love and violence. Vishal said he often feels anger at the unfairness in the world, and through this film, he could release that anger in the story. At the same time, he said love is just as strong in the movie, inspired by the kind and sensitive people he has met in life.

Vishal described the film as both entertaining and meaningful, violent and emotional, and loving and vengeful. He shared that making the movie was a journey full of feelings, and he wanted to share them with his audience.
