Youth bludgeoned with stone to death in Chittapur taluk

A 25-year-old man was murdered by unidentified persons in Allur (B) village of Chittapur taluk, Kalaburagi district, on Tuesday night.

The deceased has been identified as Siddappa M. Hulgolur.

According to the police, the accused killed Siddappa by attacking him with a stone near the village lake.

The police suspected that the murder may have been committed over enmity.

Superintendent of Police Adduru Srinivasulu and Deputy Superintendent of Police Shankargouda Patil visited the spot to carry out an inspection.

The police have intensified investigation in the murder case by taking a few people into custody for questioning.

A case has been registered in the Chittapur Police Station.
