YouTube TV has shared more details about the custom channel packages it will start rolling out this week. The new packages are cheaper than YouTube TV’s standard $82.99 / month plan, and will span sports, entertainment, and news. Here’s a breakdown of each package:
- Sports Plan ($64.99 / month): Includes access to “major broadcasters” and sports networks, including FS1, NBC Sports Network, ESPN, and the new ESPN Unlimited streaming service.
- Sports + News Plan ($71.99 / month): Includes everything in the sports bundle with news networks, including CNBC, Fox News, MSNBC, CNN, CSPAN, Bloomberg, and Fox Business.
- Entertainment Plan ($54.99 / month): Includes access to “major broadcasters” and channels like Comedy Central, Bravo, Paramount, Food Network, HGTV, and others.
- News + Entertainment + Family Plan ($69.99 / month): Combines news and entertainment content with family-oriented channels, such as Disney Channel, Nickelodeon, National Geographic, Cartoon Network, PBS Kids, and others.
YouTube TV says people who sign up for one of these packages can still add up to six people to one account, as well as access features like unlimited DVR, multiview, and key plays. These aren’t the only packages that YouTube TV plans on rolling out, however, as the company says it plans to launch more than 10 bundles.
The platform is also getting ready to launch custom multiview, which will allow subscribers to watch more types of channels side-by-side.
