"...the Board of Directors of the Company has declared first interim dividend of Rs 35 per equity share of Rs 5/- each fully paid up (700%) for the Financial Year 2025-26," HAL said in an exchange filing on February 12, 2026.

The company under discussion here is defence PSU Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL). The company has fixed February 18 as the record date of the interim dividend. Moreover, the company has also fixed the payment date of the said dividend.

"Record date for the payment of first interim dividend will be Wednesday, the 18th February, 2026. The dividend will be paid to all the eligible shareholders on or before 14th March, 2026," read the company's exchange filing.

HAL Q3 Results

Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd reported a 29.64 per cent year-on-year rise in consolidated profit after tax to Rs 1,866.68 crore for the December quarter of FY26, as per an exchange filing on Thursday, January 12.

The company had posted a post-tax profit of Rs 1,439.83 crore in the same quarter last year. Revenue from operations rose 10.65 per cent year-on-year to Rs 7,698.8 crore in Q3 FY26 from Rs 6,957.31 crore a year earlier.

Shares of Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd closed at Rs 4,212.75 per share on Friday, February 13 -- which is 1.30 per cent up from the previous close of Rs 4,158.65 apiece.

HAL has delivered 15.11 per cent return in one year, 44.14 per cent return in 2 years, 244.35 per cent in 3 years and 721.31per cent in last 5 years. Notably, Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd is a constituent of BSE 100 index and enjoys a market capitalisation of Rs 2,81,738.19 crore.

Equity benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty closed lower, tumbling more than 1 per cent on Friday, February 13, extending losses for a second straight session due to an across-the-board selloff, especially in metal, IT and commodity stocks, tracking sluggish global markets.

In a volatile session, the 30-share BSE Sensex crashed 1,048.16 points, or 1.25 per cent, to close at 82,626.76. During the day, the benchmark tanked 1,140.37 points, or 1.36 per cent, to hit an intraday low of 82,534.55. The 50-share NSE Nifty plunged 336.10 points, or 1.30 per cent, to settle at 25,471.10. In the intraday trade, it slumped 362.9 points, or 1.4 per cent, to hit a low of 25,444.30.
