Actor Paresh Ganatra, who has mostly played character roles in films, recently spoke about how many stars don’t like getting clicked while working on set. However, he lauded veteran star Dharmendra for his kind and sensitive gesture on set when he personally called Paresh to click a photo with him.
He said, “Many stars don’t like you asking for a photo and that you have to understand. They are acting with you, but they have a different space and you should not enter that. So I never entered that space and I never asked for a photograph from any of the stars. I don’t have their numbers or photos with them. Why would you get personal unless they want you to.”
He added, “I just have a photograph with Dharmendra ji because I just love him and he called me for a photo. Some actors were clicking photos with him, and I was standing on the side and he saw me, and he called me for the photo. Dharmendra Ji saw that I am standing far and I’m avoiding going there, so he called me.”

Paresh recalled shooting Aankhen with Akshay Kumar and admitted that Khiladi Kumar was a prank master, though he never tried anything with him. However, he revealed how Akshay once beat the film’s producer in a game of cards. “Akshay never did a prank with me, but during the shooting of Aankhen, he used to play cards with everyone. He asked me if I would want to play with him, but I refused. He said, ‘Khelna bhi maat har jayega. Abhi dekh tu (Don’t play with me, you will lose).’ And in five minutes, he took Rs 14-15K of the producer in just three games.”
Earlier, actor couple Manoj Pahwa and Seema Pahwa also recalled how Akshay’s prank almost cost them their marriage. Manoj told Hindi Rush, “He pretended to be me and spoke to Seema. He set up the whole act.” Seema added, “He gave the phone to Neha Dhupia, who pretended to be an unknown woman and said, ‘He is in the bathroom.’ I was like, ‘You can’t fool me.’” Manoj continued, “This could have created doubt—Seema might have thought, ‘A girl is on the phone, what is happening there?’ But I told Akshay this prank wouldn’t work on us because we’ve been married for a long time.”
