In a recent interview with IANS, she shared what guides her choice of roles, “If I find them convincing, that yes, I can do this, and I see myself doing it, only then do I do it. Otherwise, I don’t.” Her instinct-driven approach and commitment to authenticity have allowed her to explore a wide range of characters while maintaining credibility and audience appeal.

When asked about her selection process, Priyamani emphasised that personal connection matters more than genre or fame.

“It is not like I do roles only from a particular genre. I choose roles that I like. If I find them convincing, that yes, I can do this, and I see myself doing it, only then do I do it. Otherwise, I don’t.”
