Rubina Dilaik admits she is ‘terrified’ about leaving her daughters behind as she prepares for Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 after embracing motherhood.

Rubina Dilaik says motherhood has changed her completely.
Rubina Dilaik, one of the strongest television personalities, who impressed audiences with her daring avatar in Khatron Ke Khiladi 12, is all set to prove her mettle in Khatron Ke Khiladi 15. But this time, things are different, she is a mother now. Speaking to News18 Showsha, Dilaik revealed how she is terrified by the thought of leaving her daughters behind.
The actress, while speaking to us, shared, “Very honestly, I am not excited, but I am terrified about how I will leave my daughters for a 40-day schedule. This is something that is going to be brand new for me because the amount of changes that I have seen in my motherhood journey has really bewildered me. So, how I am going to face the challenges is very new for me, and this newness brings a lot of nervousness."
Rubina Dilaik revealed she hasn’t been able to even pack for her schedule yet and said, “I am trying to figure out how, when, and with whom my daughter will be fine, and how I should navigate this journey. But that doesn’t mean that I don’t prioritise my work. It is just that balancing both takes a great amount of energy and requires a great amount of commitment so that it doesn’t affect anything."
Speaking about the last time she did Khatron and why things were different for her, the actress shared, “In 2022, I had fewer responsibilities, and my life was focused, and I had my undivided attention. The kind of physical workout and the way I was grooming myself already had aspects that could align with Khatron Ke Khiladi. But after becoming a mother, my world has been turned upside down. I am quietly rebuilding myself because motherhood takes away everything."
Last time when Rubina did Khatron Ke Khiladi, she was sidelined, and speaking about whether she fears the same this time, the actress added, “Aisa hona chahiye. I am a strong, opinionated woman, and that doesn’t sit well with everyone. I should be expecting not to be a part of the herd, and I don’t like to be part of the herd. Meaning thereby, if people like me less or don’t like me, it doesn’t matter to me."
Sharing how Abhinav Shukla encouraged her to take up the challenge, the actress added, “Abhinav said that such opportunities would not come walking in next time. ‘You should take the challenge, and we will figure out the family,’ and he is right. If I am a working woman and if I have to put down offers because I am guilty of doing my job and not my motherhood duty, I think I am doing injustice to my authentic self."
