How India And Pakistan Played Out Draw?

India started strong, dominating possession and creating early chances, putting Pakistan on the defensive. They earned a penalty corner in the third minute, but the opportunity was missed.

Against the run of play, Pakistan counterattacked and earned a penalty stroke. Captain Hannan Shahid (5’) scored, giving Pakistan an early lead. Encouraged by this breakthrough, Pakistan began to find their rhythm, launching quick passes and threatening the Indian defence. They came close to scoring again with a penalty corner in the 10th minute but failed to extend their lead.

India continued to push for an equaliser, testing Pakistan’s defence with speed and accuracy, but couldn’t score as the first quarter ended 1-0 in Pakistan’s favour.

Pakistan started the second quarter aggressively, earning another penalty corner. However, the Indian defence held firm. India faced a setback when Anmol Ekka received a yellow card for a sliding tackle in the 20th minute, leaving them a man short for the rest of the quarter.

Despite this, the Indian team displayed discipline and composure. They prevented Pakistan from capitalising on the numerical advantage and continued to challenge their defence with quick transitions and clever passing. Nevertheless, the equaliser eluded them, and Pakistan maintained their 1-0 lead at half-time.

In the third quarter, India began with renewed determination, focusing on possession and building patient attacks. Pakistan stuck to their counterattacking strategy, and Sufyan Khan (39’) converted a penalty corner, doubling their lead.

Refusing to give up, India pushed forward and were rewarded late in the quarter. Araijeet Singh Hundal (43’) confidently converted a penalty stroke, narrowing the deficit. The quarter ended with Pakistan leading 2-1.

The final quarter saw Pakistan earn an early penalty corner, but the Indian defence stood strong. Moments later, Sourabh Anand Kushwaha (47’) scored a well-placed shot to level the scores. Energised by the equaliser, India adopted an aggressive approach, putting Pakistan under pressure.

Their efforts paid off in the 53rd minute when Manmeet Singh scored, giving India the lead for the first time. However, this was short-lived as Sufyan Khan (55’) converted another penalty corner to equalise. Both teams searched for a winner in the closing minutes, but the match ended in a thrilling 3-3 draw.

India will next play Australia on 15th October.
