The company’s net profit increased to around Rs 42 crore in the first quarter from Rs 33 crore a year earlier, while revenue remained largely stable at around Rs 192 crore compared with Rs 188 crore in the corresponding period last year.
Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) rose 40% year-on-year to Rs 67 crore from Rs 48 crore. The operating margin expanded to 35% during the quarter from 25% a year earlier, reflecting improved operational efficiency. Net profit margin also improved to 22% from 18%.
On the operational front, the Mumbai-focused developer reported pre-sales of Rs 787 crore during the quarter, marking a 20% increase from Rs 657 crore in the year-ago period. Customer collections rose 17% year-on-year to Rs 409 crore from Rs 351 crore, indicating sustained demand and healthy cash flow generation.
The company has been focusing on premium and luxury residential developments across the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, where demand has remained resilient despite higher property prices.
For 2025-26, Sunteck Realty had reported revenue of Rs 1,124 crore, EBITDA of Rs 305 crore and net profit of Rs 202 crore. Annual pre-sales stood at Rs 3,157 crore, while collections were Rs 1,433 crore.
The latest quarterly performance suggests the company has maintained its growth trajectory into 2026-27 with improved profitability and steady sales momentum. The expansion in margins, coupled with higher pre-sales and collections, underscores continued demand in the premium housing segment and strengthens the developer’s operational performance at the start of the financial year.
