Tech firm Bonbloc is official AI partner of Chennai Super Kings

Bonbloc, a global AI and technology solutions company, on Monday announced its partnership with the Chennai Super Kings (CSK), joining the franchise as CSK’s Official AI Partner this season.

Bonbloc said it is the company’s first such sporting partnership in advanced AI and Blockchain-powered solutions and by partnering with CSK, the AI company aims to showcase how intelligent technologies can elevate sports and create immersive experiences for fans.

As part of the partnership, Bonbloc’s branding will feature across CSK’s digital platforms, stadium activations, and exclusive initiatives powered by AI and Blockchain technologies. The company name also finds a mention in the CSK jersey.

Durai Appadurai, Co-Founder & Managing Director, Bonbloc, said AI can help assess patterns and gather insights from past performance in sports and they found synergies with CSK’s organisational skills, planning, and humility.

KS Viswanathan, Managing Director, Chennai Super Kings, said: “With Bonbloc’s AI capabilities, we look forward to unlocking new digital experiences for our fans and enhancing our operational excellence through the season.” There are a number of opportunities for us to increase use of AI in areas such as simulations, performance analysis and, maybe, even auctions, he added.
