Telangana is moving up on the value chain from being a leading manufacturer of drugs and vaccines to become a global hub for integrated life sciences, according to Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy.
He was speaking at the inaugural session of the 23rd edition of BioAsia 2026, Telangana’s flagship forum of life sciences and healthcare forum here on Tuesday.
Telangana is offering a stable and reliable ecosystems for the development of life sciences and had already become a hub of Global Capability Centres (GCCs), Reddy said.

D Sridhar Babu, Minister for Industries, said Hyderabad has become a ‘trusted global partner’ in life sciences for many across the world. The State will play a key role in convergence of pharma/biology and technology as it’s . becoming the brain of the global pharma with GCCs and R&D centres of leading pharma / life sciences companies, he added.
