Veteran Kannada actor M N Suresha turns director with ‘Kshameyirali Thande’

Seasoned actor M N Suresha is turning director with Kshameyirali Thande. The veteran theatre artiste, who was recently seen in Niveditha Shivarajkumar’s production, Fire Fly, is also the producer of the upcoming Kannada movie.

Known in the film fraternity as Moog Suresh, the experienced artiste will bankroll the project under the banner Shree Deviamma Mallikarjuna Films. Ahalya Suresh, who presents the film, is credited as the executive producer.

The film is touted to be a touching father-son story. Circumstances lead to change in dynamics of their relationship, says Suresha to The Hindu. “The film makes a commentary on the obsession of government jobs in India,” he adds.

The movie stars Manjunath Hegde, Renuka Mali, Moog Suresh, Shrimanth, Vinaya Shetty and Rekha Sagar. Vivek Chakravarthi has composed the music while Suryakanth has handled the cinematography. Muthuraj is the editor.

Kshameyirali Thande is based on a story from S Harish, who has also penned the screenplay and dialogues. The movie is in the post-production phase, and the makers are soon set to announce the release date.
