Dividend Stock Alert: Abbott India Ltd has announced a total dividend of Rs 656 per equity share for the financial year ended March 31, 2026. The payout comprises a final dividend of Rs 525 per share and a special dividend of Rs 131 per share. The dividend will be paid on or after August 18, 2026, to shareholders whose names appear in the Register of Members as of the record date. The company's Board had recommended the dividend while approving the audited financial statements for FY26.
The company's 82nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) is scheduled to be held on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at 10:00 AM through Video Conferencing (VC) and Other Audio-Visual Means (OAVM).
The dividend has been recommended from the company's profits for the financial year 2025-26. July 24, 2026, has been fixed as the record date to determine shareholders' eligibility for the dividend.
Abbott India reported a 7.6 per cent year-on-year (YoY) increase in net profit to Rs 394.93 crore for the quarter ended March 2026, compared with Rs 367.04 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue from sales grew 6.5 per cent YoY to Rs 1,709.51 crore, up from Rs 1,604.59 crore a year earlier.
For the full financial year ended March 2026, the company's net profit rose 9.7 per cent YoY to Rs 1,552.02 crore, compared with Rs 1,414.44 crore in FY25. Annual sales increased 8.1 per cent YoY to Rs 6,929.05 crore, from Rs 6,409.15 crore in the previous financial year.

A total of 89 companies are scheduled to trade ex-date between July 20 and July 24, offering investors the final opportunity to buy their shares and become eligible for announced dividends, bonus issues, stock splits, spin-offs and other corporate actions. Among the prominent names are Bharti Airtel, Hero MotoCorp, Pidilite Industries, Abbott India, Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC and Info Edge (India).
Collectively, these companies have announced 97 corporate actions, including dividends, bonus issues, stock splits, spin-offs and other corporate benefits. The announced dividend payouts total Rs 1,609.52 per share, with Abbott India declaring the highest payout of Rs 656 per share (Rs 525 final + Rs 131 special), followed by Hawkins Cookers and ICRA. Investors must own the shares before the respective ex-date to be eligible for these benefits.
Shares of Abbott India are currently (at the time of filing this report) trading at Rs 28,699.35 per share, up 1.50 per cent. During the day the counter swung between Rs 28,824.90 and Rs 28,188.40 per share. The stock reached its 52-week high level on July 30, 2025 at Rs 35,280.00 per share; while 52-week low level came on April 27, 2026 at Rs 25,164 per share.
Notably, Abbott India is constituent of BSE 200 index and enjoys a market capitalisation of Rs 60,984.12 crore.
